A Coffee Break with Mark

What can you do in ten minutes?

In this episode Mark shares five rules for a ten-minute learning session, along with some ideas you can finish within a session. Now we'd like to hear yours.

Next Friday we'll share the ideas in a deck that the whole Coffee Break community can shuffle. Add yours below.

Share your ten-minute idea

Just one thing you can start and finish within ten minutes. The ideas that work best are usually the simple ones.

A few from the video, to get you going

  • Write a shopping list in the language
  • Put sticky notes on ten things in the kitchen
  • Learn the chorus of a song
  • One verb, one tense, three sentences
  • Narrate making the coffee, out loud

Your idea

We read every one, and the ideas we share will go on the full deck with your name beside them.

First name and the initial of your surname, like Joe B. or Kate L. That's how it'll appear on the card.

Which level is it for?

We'll fix any typos before an idea goes on the deck and nothing is shared unless you've ticked the permission box. No email address is needed.

Thank you!

That's in. We'll read it over the next few days, and if it's on the deck when the generator opens next Friday, you'll see your name beside it.

Got another one? Send that too.

The Coffee Break ten-minute idea generator

A deck of ideas from the Coffee Break community. Shuffle it, take the top card, set your timer for ten minutes and off you go. It opens next Friday at half past one. We'll send the link in the Friday email.
